I grew up in a small town in Northeast Kansas where I learned the value of teamwork through various sports and clubs. While pursuing my bachelor’s degree at Washburn University, I joined the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. I began taking on leadership roles early and getting involved. In my freshman year I held the role of Vice President of Recruitment and held an executive role in each semester including graduating as the Vice President of Programming. I have always been an avid sports fan and was able to become a student manager for the men’s basketball team in my last year at Washburn, where the Ichabod’s finished 3rd in the nation.
I enjoy babysitting my nephews and niece as well as building RC cars with my father, reading about exercise science, and spending time outside riding dirtbikes, fishing, and building projects.
